The first apartment

1. Where had you moved from? 6 days ago, we moved from my parents-in-laws’ place.

2. Describe your first apartment. It’s actually a flat with 2 bedrooms, a quite spacious (spacious as of now because we don’t have furnitures yet) lving room and dining area, with utility area at the back and at the side, a parking area in front

3. How old were you when you had your apartment? 29

4. Did you have roommates? If yes, tell us more. Hubby’s my roommate!

5. What was your place of employment then? I am not already working outside when we moved here in the apartment.

6. How were you finances at the time? Just enough for everything that we NEED. No extras.

7. Tell us about a lover who spent a night there. None…never!

8. Tell us about a band you listen to then. (You can cheat. Look it up.) I don’t listen to bands lately.

9. How long did you live there and why did you move from there? Three years, I guess. I and hubby wanted to live on our own, for my sake because it’s so stressful living with the in-laws (no, they’re not bad. I only have issues over things). On his part, he’s also stressed because I vent out my frustrations to him.

Happy birthday Hubby!

It’s hubby’s birthday! His parents invited us for a buffet breakfast at Probinsya. We were there quite late from the agreed time but PILs aren’t there yet and they arrived after a while. The food are great (sounds like) though I didn’t eat that much. As usual, I don’t get really full with buffet meals. I don’t know why. Many different dishes just don’t entice me to eat so much until my bladder is full. I know I won’t be getting what we pay for the meals but for the sake of hubby, I gave in to PILs invitation.

After breakfast, we went to Victoria Plaza for grocery shopping. Hubby asked me to bake macaroni for him and cook his fave seafood, shrimps. We went home after buying some stuffs from the supermarket and went straight to Bankerohan market to buy shrimps and fish. We went home with more than a kilogram of shrimps, 3 Milkfish, a Tuna jaw, fresh fruits for the tropical fruit salad. Then I started to work in the kitchen. I was cooking the shrimps while the macaroni is in the oven. Then grilled the Tuna jaw while Ace went to Gaisano Mall to withdraw my moolah and buy himself a cake from Red Ribbon. It’s my present to him but I don’t have the time to go to the mall so I send him there since he’s just lazing around here while I am too busy prepping for dinner.

We’re not expecting too many visitors, actually. Just our neighbors (Jovanni and family), PILs, my cousin and niece. But prepping everything by my self is not a joke. Since I am doing it for hubby, I don’t mind. We had a sumptuous dinner. I can tell our visitors are all full with just the shrimps, grilled Tuna and tropical fruit salad because they could hardly eat the baked macaroni and cake. So Dimple (my niece) had a take home baked macaroni. In a way, it was such a great day for Ace. For the first time after so long, he was able to celebrate it at home, with me cooking.
