Friday5 #1

  • What’s your favorite frozen heat-and-eat food? Any left-over would do
  • How sensitive are you to cool temperatures? I’ve got patches in my whole body when it’s very cold.
  • How many ice-cube trays are there in your freezer? There’s only one because we are not fond of drinking cold water.
  • What aspect of your life seems to be frozen in place?  My social life….because I’ve been staying at home most of the time. Haven’t gone out with friends since January.
  • What’s your favorite blanket like? I like the one with cotton cloth.

Wife = househelp

Now I wouldn’t say I don’t agree with what my friends are saying….that MEN got married to have a PERSONAL ASSISTANT who will take care of everything that they need. For them to have somebody do what they order…do this, do that…give me this, give me that…find me this, find me that…what else? Even the minutest thing that they could do would be relied unto the wife (unless the wife is more lazier than the husband). Yes, it is my role to SERVE (?) him and I won’t complain if I AM NOT WORKING. Hey, I am not just sitting here whole day and waiting for his paycheck. I do my thing to earn….hence, I am not totally FINANCIALLY independent on my husband. I don’t even keep his salary. I am not the type of wife who will ask for the paycheck come payday. Maybe your orientation of the wife’s role is wrong….or you were raised to be the señorito type who sees what should be done but would love to see others do it.
