During my grandfather’s burial, crying and laughing moments were all captured through the digital still camera and ditital camcorder. The president of Moya’s angels (that’s what we call ourselves as Tatang and Inang’s grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and great great grandchildren), Manang Tessie, briefed us to take funny moments so there’s something we could laugh at after the burial. Donald (my BIL) recorded the song rendered by one of our aunts during the necrological service. When we viewed it through the multi-media projector night after the burial, Mamang Emy’s song number became a laughing matter as it was clearly captured how her false teeth almost escaped her mouth while saying her message to Tatang after her song.*LOL*. That was really funny. Sadly, our DSLR has no video capability so Ace then said “it’s also nice to have a digital camcorder”. I truly agree because there are moments that are best captured in a video than in still photos. So if we could get our badly-needed lens for Kadayawan, then we could also start saving for a camcorder hence I started to look for digital camcorders online. I am actually targeting a refurbished one because it is far cheaper than the brand new. Anyway, refurbished units are also brandnew, it’s that it was only repackaged.
