I think Ace was forced to forget about the RC toys that he wanted to buy last year because he hasn’t talked about it for months. It was such a relief for me because I don’t see any benefit we could get from that pricey RC toy cars that he wanted. Well, except for his personal satisfaction. He seemed to be fixated with toys and is trying to suppress it because I don’t agree with buying a pricey RC. Besides, we don’t have a big paved space that he could run the RC so it’s useless. Oh well, the joy of getting his hand on an RC is immeasurable hence he wanted one so badly…and he has no choice but to suppress that want. Poor boy! If we’ll have more than enough on December, I might as well get him one. Shhh…don’t tell him that. He might not be able to sleep well thinking about his dream RC car.hahaha

We were having dinner one time while watching our fave telenovela in ABS-CBN. Then our helper who’s sitting in front of the TV just grabbed the remote control and changed channel! Haler! Did we say change channel? Ace was pissed that he instantly told her to tune back in ABS-CBN because we are watching. Then I told Ace to hold on to the remote control everytime we’re watching. I thought she got the message right….not to change channel when somebody’s watching or listening to the TV but she did it again, again and again. I used to turn on the TV and listen to the program while I am infront of the PC. But the good helper just change channel without asking if it’s ok. Quite pissed, I told her to tune back to the previous channel. But seems it isn’t effective and I really loathe telling people simple things that should and not should be done because it should be COMMON SENSE. Oh well, common sense isn’t common. Anyway, I was just thinking what if we transfer the TV to our bedroom so she cannot watch anytime she wanted? But that would mean ripping Che2x her TV time. So I just told Ace that if we’d be able to get a home theater set, we should set it up inside our bedroom for the helper might be enjoying it more than us because she has more idle time than me and Ace. This is just a small thing but it’s an issue to me because I am not doing what she’s doing to others especially if I don’t own the TV. I tried it once to tune in to my fave channel while working then placed the remote control by my side thinking that she might not have the guts to get it beside me and change channel. I was totally wrong! In the middle of the show (I am just listening), she grabbed the remote and changed channel! Now tell me if I don’t have the right to be pissed off? Even if I told her many times not to change channel because I am listening to the program, it seems it’s falling on deaf ears and I hate telling people the same thing over and over again. Once should be enough.
