Thoughts from Home

Been following an online friend’s blog for more than a year. I have read her post from the time they bought their RV or others may call it motorhome up to their latest camping trip and I am drooling over the fact that they could go on camping anytime and anywhere they wanted. That’s the thing that I wanted to do over here….going on camping when Ace’ schedule permits us to do so. Anyway, Julie and Joe’s RV is pre-owned (I think) and yet, there have been no major issues with it except during their week-long camping when the water supply broke. So far, so good that their RV or motorhome never broke on the road and that they would need to call for a motorhome towing. Oh well, I hope it won’t happen. But in worst case scenario, they might be ready for it such that Joe already has an auto club membership for roadside assistance and motorhome towing that would assist them should they need it.

Oh…I thought I already blogged about why we sent home our househelp. Anyway, after the many instances that she was doing the wrong thing, and obviously not following instructions, I am already fed up. I hate giving the same instructions over and over again. What’s worse is, the helper feels like this is her own home that she does everything that she wanted such as turning on the TV when she wanted, changing channels even though we are watching, just eating anything that she can see though its not for her, taking and using personal things that isn’t hers and the worst thing that triggered her termination is that she turned on FILs lappy without permission! MIL saw it so when I and Ace knew about it, we immediately decided to send her home. We talked to her that same night and told her we are sending her home because we cannot just tolerate such attitude. Besides, we don’t already trust her so what’s the point of staying with us? If she’s too nosy, then this house is not the place for her because I really LOATHE nosy people over here. Added to her being meddlesome, she lies most of the time so there’s really no point of continuing her services with us as almost all the traits that I and Ace loathe is in her. She’s even receiving higher than the regular rate of a househelp and yet we aren’t happy with her output. I think we are just wasting our money with her so there’s no reason why we should not fire her. Now I am thinking if we still need to hire another helper but Ace wanted a replacement but this time coming from my hometown. We’ll see if we’ll find one.
