Sleep over

Sister Carol and family just went home (to the mountains) after a sleep over here last night. They left after dinner and having a stuffed crust pan pizza from Pizza Hut as dessert. Weird? hehe

Anyway, I thought I could sleep early last night so after helping Che2x fix their beddings, I went inside our room and work for a while. I was about to hit the sack when I went to the comfort room and was surprised to see everybody awake! Well, except for Eman who’s already in dreamland (because it’s past midnight). After going to the CR, I went inside Che2x’s room and joined them (Che2x, Carol and Ella) in a conversation. We talked about so many things including our plan of not going home this new year. We’re gonna celebrate it here so we’ll just ask Daddy to go here next month. Initial plan is spending a night at a beach resort and welcome the coming of the new year there. We are all so excited about the plan but we’re not yet sure which beach resort in Samal Island. With the plan, we’re gonna rent out a cottage or two – depending on its maximum occupancy. However, though it’s a resort, it will be a lot different from theĀ Outer Banks vacation rentals that I’ve been hearing about a lot of times. We cannot afford that yet for renting an exclusive beach front vacation home is too expensive. Well, plans have been laid out so we’re gonna finalize it in the coming days to make an early reservation in the resort. After that “planning” session, we adjourned at past 2AM that made me groggy the whole morning for having just 4 hours of sleep.

Whatever, whenever

Since we moved, we’re enjoying the benefit of watching cable TV courtesy of our next door neighbor. They allowed us to tap from their connection so we could also watch other channels not just few. However, we’ve got reception problems that sometimes we can’t watch even the local channel so we have no choice but to turn off the TV and wait until reception is back to normal. That’s one thing that is preventing us from subscribing their services. If I were in Jovani’s shoes, I would complain about the cable company’s poor services and shift to another service provider should the problem won’t be addressed. However, there are limited choices of cable services here so he must have no choice but to stick to the current company. If only bell tv is available in this part of the planet, we might as well subscribe from them so we could enjoy the benefit of watching our fave shows whenever we wanted. Hence we won’t be missing an episode or two of our fave shows.
