Thanks goodness we’re not going to seek professional help in adult acne treatment for Ace. What I wanted for him is to undergo certain treatment that will minimize the pores and eliminate the scars caused by adolescent and/or hormonal acne. That pimple prone and scarred face has caused him a lot of trauma that resulted to low self-esteem. During the first year of our relationship, it was really tough dealing with it. Glad he gained his confidence after some time as I become his personal “dermatologist”. It should have been treated when the problem started. Oh well, maybe it was but treatment isn’t continuous so the problem recurred. Anyway, what I want him to overcome is his aloofness in derma clinics and the facial care section in the malls or shops. Wish he will gain total confidence soon.
