Insomnia attack

…once again! I loathe this moment when I should be in deep slumber but I can’t even doze off. This happens every night and this is not something that I wanted. I have arranged my work schedule with my colleagues so I could go to bed at 2AM but everything failed. The moment that I logged off from work, my neurons are still active. No matter how hard I try, I end up tossing in bed thus disturbing Ace’ sleep so I have no choice but to get up, turn the PC on and find something to do. I’d better be productive until my neurons will finally feel the need to rest.

I know lack of sleep would result to many health issues including skin problems such asĀ adult acne. Though I try to compensate the issue by taking the much needed rest during the day, I think it isn’t enough. Rest during the night is a lot different during the day even if I try to simulate night time by closing all windows and trying to prevent light from entering the room through the windows, turning on the a/c and wearing a sleeping mask (so I cannot see even a single streak of light), I don’t feel well rested after 4 to 5 hours of sleep. Insomnia indeed is driving me nuts!

Natural remedy for acne

Having acne is no joke! It can rip you off your confidence and self esteem. Acne treatments and/or body acne treatment are expensive at least for me so it’s always best to resort to natural remedies such as the following:

  • Apply a honey mask to your face once or twice a week
  • Wash twice a day with acne soap
  • Keep your hair off your face
  • Take a potent multi-vitamin
  • Include chromium in your diet
  • Eat carrots for beta-carotene (Vitamin A)
  • Avoid wearing makeup
  • Do not pick or squeeze your blackheads and pimples
  • Wash your pillow case every other day
  • Eat foods rich in zinc
  • I’d take note of these to prevent acne from developing in my face or anywhere in my body.
