Thoughts from Home

It’s been a month since I visited the grocery store where we usually do our grocery shopping. We didn’t stock much on food the previous month because we’re always away from home. So we just do grocery trips to the nearby grocery store. It saved us on taxi fare because we just go there using Ace motorbike or we just ride a trike to the place. Of course it is really different doing grocery shopping in the big supermarket than here. The place is not that spacious, they don’t carry some items (but the best part is…they carry dog food!), the cashiers are not that efficient not to mention that the barcode scanners’ sensors are acting up.

Anyhow, I miss grocery shopping at the supermarket so maybe next month we could do our shopping there for a month of food supply.  

I saw cigars at the mall the last time we went there. It’s nice with a very pretty packaging but costs a LOT! I think it’s a premium brand and cigar collectors wouldn’t mind buying it because it’s something worthy to collect and brag about. Ace was surprised to see the price and uttered “better buy in Ilocos”.haha. I think he is right because that certain brand seems to be a premium product of Ilocos. But for cigar collectors, I am sure they wouldn’t mind if a box of tobacco costs them ten thousand pesos. I tell you, it’s nice to have it in your display cabinet!
