I miss blogging yesterday and I do have a lot of things to share. Only, I can’t find time to write a decent post in between the usual things that I do daily. Anyway, our weekend went well. After my my sister Carol and family left for Trento (so they could pack their things there and be ready for the move here in Davao) last Sunday, I and Ace decided to hit the mall. But before we roam around SM, we had early dinner at Dencio’s Kamayan. After a long wait (because they seem to be undermanned), we were able to eat a sumptuous Filipino meal of Dencio’s Kinilaw, Sigig with egg and chicken liver barbeque. We were so full that we had the energy to shop and window shop. What I had in mind is to check for an office desk that I could use for my home office. However, we were hooked at homeworld’s bedroom collection. I was just checking how much a fleece or a microfiber blanket costs but Ace was so kind to give a go signal that I should buy thus we got a queen size of microfibre blanket that could be a replacement to the comforter that we are currently using should I wash it. Then Ace insisted that I should get a body pillow. He knows that I am dreaming to have one for so long (for over six years) so despite of the fact that I have not included that thing in my shopping budget, I got one. And oh, before I forget, I got a pillow protector made of cotton Japara for my body pillow too!
After the sales lady handed us everything, I rushed to the cashier so I won’t be tempted to pick other things. If only the barcode scanner and the POS screen will show me different amount (cheaper than the price), I would shop till I drop!hahaha. My conscience bothers me because I paid almost $70 (at PhP47 exchange rate) while waiting for the bagger to finish wrapping what we bought but Ace blurted “remember, you told me you want to shop so I am just giving you the freedom. Afterall, it’s your hard earned money”. Yes. I did told him I wanna shop and spend all my salary. No matter how much I wanted to do it, I am still worried about the bills that we need to pay. Hence, I limit myself to those 3 things that I think is essential for our bedroom…for added comfort while we take a rest after a hard day’s work (and play?). Who doesn’t deserve that, anyway?
