“Freon Low”? That’s what I initially thought when Ace asked me what the FL means that is showing in the digital monitor of our room airconditioner. It must not be the freon because it’s exactly 18 days since we started using it. I grabbed the user’s manual and FL means “filter check warning”. How come it’s FL when it should be FC?hahaha. I wonder if that’s the same thing with furnace filters since both have the same function – to filter the air, only on different occasions or situations. Anyway, let the manufacturers answer that. I peeked through the grille and was shocked to see a thick layer of dust clinging in the air filter. That’s how dusty our room is? I wonder where the dust come from when I don’t usually open the windows since we started using the a/c.
I’ve noticed that since we moved, I could see dust particles in the air when it’s hit by the sun’s rays. Though we dust off almost everyday, we never could get rid of the dust. We’re near the road, but only few vehicles pass by it so I doubt if the dust is really coming from the road. It must be hard for this house to be dust-free because of the screened windows and doors. Hence the dust is contained inside the apartment unless we use a vacuum cleaner to suck all dust particles. How I wish this apartment is not screened so we could easily blow off the dust outside. That made me think of a small vacuum cleaner as a next home stuff project. Lemme see come payday.
