Versatile musician

During his university days, hubby has a dorm mate who’s taking Bachelor of Arts in music as a degree. After leaving the university, he also lost contact with this friend until he saw this musician friend playing saxophone in a morning show on national TV. He was thrilled to share that good news to me and said that if we get married, he wanted his musician friend to play sax and sing for us during the ceremony.

Finding ways to contact that friend is a long story. But we were able to get in touch with him months before the wedding and we are very grateful he made himself available during our wedding. So sweet of him! We made arrangements on his needs for being our wedding musician and singer that includes renting a hiring a keyboardist and renting a fender hot rod deville for the guitars and other needs for his saxophone. It was stressful at first but having him during our wedding is something we are grateful for. We had one of the country’s good and versatile musician and singer. Now he is making a name in the industry and we are very proud of him. We are actually looking forward for his show here in Davao. We won’t miss it for sure!

The evolution of Yoyo

There is no doubt that yoyo is one of the most ancient toys there are. Nobody really knows where they are from, although there have been arguments that the first yoyo was made in China, but there is no way to confirm that. Its original use was for hunting and used as a weapon against fierce animals. Over the years the yoyo has been popularized as a toy—in fact, there are people who could “professionally” play it!

It’s amazing how its designed has evolved over the years. Some have lights, and are made out of top quality materials. Professional players have techniques in playing the game, making it appear so complicated—and with yoyo competitions, more and more young people are encouraged to play the game professionally.
