In this digital age families, friends and couples now tend to shun the classic board games in favour of electronic gaming devices or simply not spending quality time with each other full stop. If you are looking to get back to basics and enjoy an evening of classic gaming, the following board games may be the perfect solution.

Articulate

This board game is great to pull out and play with friends over a few drinks and is completely addictive! The game requires you to think quickly in order to describe the word on your card without actually saying the word or a derivative of it to your team mate. Split into 6 categories which are object, nature, action, world, person and random, the type of word you describe is dependent on the colour you land on, moving around the board with each correctly guessed word.

Scene It

This game combines all the traditional values of a board game with the added bonus of a DVD to play the clips. Scene It is available in many different editions with specialist Simpsons, Adult Comedy and Harry Potter games to name just a few. Scene It is perfect for families, couples and friends who want to spend an evening indoors playing a thoroughly entertaining game.

Space Hulk

Those who enjoy leaping into a world of fantasy will love Space Hulk. The game is suitable for 2 players recreating the battles fought between the Space Marines and Genestealers. The game is quite fast paced add really adds tension when planning those all-important commands. The game comes with a 23 page rulebook and a 47 page mission book so a little forward planning is required to get the most out of this epic board game.

Zombie Town

Zombies are a subject of fascination amongst all age groups and have really boomed in popularity over recent years with people holding Zombie marches throughout cities and dressing up for themed parties. Zombie Town is a board game for 3-6 players that lasts for 10 days and each player represents a survivor of a neighbourhood becoming overrun by zombies. Points are collected by killing the zombies, finding guns and locating fellow survivors.

Whatever your personal preferences you are guaranteed to find a board game to enjoy. In this period of financial difficulty more and more are ditching the expensive nights out in favour of staying indoors and board games make this a truly enjoyable alternative.

Home now. Time to work.

It’s nice to back home! I terribly miss the house, the dogs, and the cat. But nothing compares the fun and happiness of being with my whole family for days.

Now it’s crunch time. Back to work as we have bills to pay and obligations to settle. I wish everyday is VACATION day but I have to work. My to do list is already long with all the items pending for weeks already. It’s time to put a check mark in each of the listed to do tasks one by one. Let me start now checking with http://www.wholesaleinsurance.net/ and what they they offer to their clients. I hope to finish all pending tasks before the day ends.
