Getting to know you

1. What are the titles of the last three books you read all of? Chicken Soup for the Soul, The Little Prince, and Life’s Little Instruction Books I,II, and III.

2. What are the titles of between three and five magazines you subscribe to or used to subscribe to? I don’t subscribe to magazines but I used to read MOD, Entrepreneur, Smart Parenting, and Good Housekeeping

3. What’s on your night table? (we figured this one was borderline, since it involves the bedroom, but if the vibe is right and you preface the question with the background story I told above, you could make it work) We actually don’t have a night table…just an improvised one. It’s where my laptop and desklamp are, right now.

4. What are the three best things that happened to you in the past seven days? Going out with HS friends, seeing and hearing two of my fave local singers live in concert, more than a handful online assignments.

5. What was your senior yearbook quote, and what would your yearbook quote be this year if there were such a thing? My ever fave…”Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”

What’s it take?

What does it take to get you to grab the mic and sing in a karaoke room? I am born singer hence I am only an audience everytime I am with friends or family in a videoke session. Thus, it takes a lot of courage and confidence to grab the mic and sing to my heart’s content.

What does it take to get you to give up a whole Saturday to hang out with people you don’t like? It would take a lot of prodding from the other party. But if the people I don’t like really need me and it’s between life and death, then I would give up the Saturday hang out.

What does it take to get you out of bed without your hitting the snooze button? A lot of willpower to fight the desire to snuggle in bed more and just thinking that the reason for getting up is so important.

What does it take to get you to take someone else’s turn at a really unpleasant task at work or home? When the person wasn’t able to do the task the way I want it to be, then I would rather do the task. That’s me being too choleric.

What does it take to get you to eat something you really dislike? Curiosity, I guess.
