It’s going to be a blogger friend’s son’s (who is my godson) birthday in a few days. Sadly, I can’t celebrate with them because I am miles away from them. I just wish my godson a very happy 1st birthday! So another birthday invitation on the way? I hope so! I just love receiving and collecting invitations for different occasions from christening to birthday parties, to weddings, and thanksgivings. Oh, I missed partying actually.LOL. Anyway, it’s gonna be a party month in a few winks. So I must ready myself, my wardrobe, and my tummy for December! Wohooo! Can’t wait!
A close friend will exchange vow with his boyfriend for a long time on the 27th. It’s a triple celebration because it’s her and her Dad’s birthday. Yay! Gone are the days when old folks believe not to wed on your or your partner’s birthday. For sure there’s no scientific explanation, it’s just a superstitious belief of most olds who are in the Catholic faith (oh well, they’re the ones with so many superstitious beliefs and traditions).
The last time we had a chat at FB, my friend said she hasn’t met all the suppliers during their trip here in Davao. She and her hubby-to-be are not based here but the wedding will be held here for the convenience of everybody coming from our hometown and other provinces and those who are coming from the country’s capital and her college friends from other parts of the country. Their coordinator must be doing great because they only need for some polishing of the wedding details more than a month to go before the wedding and final fitting of the bridesmaid dresses and other members of the entourage, and fitting of her wedding gown and the groom’s tux.
I am excited for this wedding because it will our HS class’ mini reunion (again!). Time to see friends whom I haven’t seen in months.
