Thoughts from Home

Time check it’s half past three in the morning and I am wide awake! The night owl is back. Hayts! I intentionally didn’t took a nap yesterday afternoon though I am too sleepy because I am already awake at almost four in the morning. I spent the day straightening the house, doing the laundry and pulling weeds at the yard and that gave me a backache! An hour before midnight I wanted to have a deep slumber so I had a cup of hot camomile tea and it really took me to dreamland after a few minutes. I didn’t even noticed Ace joined me in lalaland because I was deeply asleep…not until…the heavy rain started to pour…and I can’t get my eyes to close and go back to dreamland. So I stood up (which is not supposed to be if I really want to correct my sleeping habit) and here I am facing the computer!

Oh…the rain has stopped so maybe I could peacefully sleep then. I just can’t sleep when it’s raining so hard..so paranoid of flood which is unlikely to happen because we are in an elevated part of the city. But I just can’t help but think of the things that might happen due to heavy rains.
