Ace was sporting his new company-issued steel toe work shoes today. He brought it home last Saturday and by looking at the box, it is indeed expensive and of course, of good quality. It’s not locally made (it is made in Belgium) and doesn’t look like a cheapo steel toe shoes that my former employer issued to the plant people. The shoes doesn’t look like a steel toe work shoes because the design is decent enough to worn at the mall.LOL Ace’ employer must have invested much on the safety and well-being of their employees such that they also invested on a very comprehensive whole life insurance as one of the employee’s company-initiated benefits. I just hope that those who were issued with that expensive work shoes will wear it to work and not sell it to others like what my former colleagues are doing. Oh, I can’t blame them because the shoes looks like a soldier’s combat shoes!
